The Assault on Echo Base level in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes players straight into the icy battle of Hoth. Achieving a full 100 percent completion requires players to master flight controls, execute specific maneuvers, and collect every hidden item scattered across the snowbound battlefield. This guide offers practical strategies to help you tackle every level challenge and gather all collectibles efficiently.

Mastering the Level Challenges

The first level challenge, AT-ATrick, asks you to fly directly through the legs of a moving AT-AT walker. Approach the giant walker from the side early in the stage to thread the needle safely between its legs without crashing. Timing your approach is crucial because the walker moves forward continuously throughout the encounter.

For the Show Off challenge, you must trip up an AT-AT using tow cables without letting the cable snap. Keep a steady flight radius around the walker rather than focusing solely on hitting every guide circle. The final challenge, Rogue Squadron Form Up, requires you to finish the mission without getting defeated. It is best to attempt this during a dedicated run where you focus entirely on survival rather than hunting for items.

Finding All Minikit Locations

There are five Minikits hidden across the snowy terrain that unlock a micro vessel upon collection. The first Minikit sits inside a small rock arch near the start of the level, while the second is revealed by blasting an ice structure along the right wall.

As you progress into the second battlefield area, destroy six small two-wheeled vehicles to earn the third Minikit. The fourth Minikit is hidden behind another icy barrier on the right side of the canyon after clearing enemy turrets. Finally, the fifth Minikit is located inside a small rock nook on the right side of the main AT-AT arena.

Earning True Jedi and Final Completion Tips

Reaching True Jedi status in this level requires collecting 25,000 studs before taking down the final walker. You can easily boost your stud counter by blasting surrounding structures, enemy turrets, and flying through stud rings throughout the canyon. Utilizing stud multiplier extras will also make hitting this target nearly instantaneous.

Separating your goals across multiple runs will make achieving 100 percent completion far less stressful. Use Free Play mode to sweep up any missed collectibles after learning the map layout during your first story playthrough. Strategic flying and patience are all you need to clear the Hoth defense with ease.
